Studioteka is a small dynamic firm with a variety of commercial and residential projects located in a beautiful loft space in the heart of DUMBO. What we're looking for: dedicated, motivated individuals looking for a hands-on work experience with as much responsibility as you can handle. Maturity and a high level of motivation are important. We have a large scale project that's moving into the next design phase (urban design, architecture, and interior design) as well as some exciting new projects in the works, so we are looking for people with 1 - 5 years of office experience. For the summer internship, previous practical experience in building or making things (whether experience in architecture, interiors, furniture or product design) is a plus, as are skills in 3D visualization. We are also looking for people with a fair degree of practical experience on a job site, great design and interpersonal skills, as well as a high degree of comfort in putting together drawing sets and client presentations. All candidates should have excellent communication skills and be well organized and self-motivated. An adventurous spirit and a love of design are a must, as is the ability to work in an informal design studio atmosphere. Spoken and written Spanish a big plus. Compensation will depend upon the skill and experience level of applicants and the mix of projects in the office.

Start date: Immediately to early December, 2016/January 2017.

Candidates should have a working knowledge of Autocad, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and In-Design. Preference will be given to candidates who also have proficiency in 3D Studio Max, Rhino or other 3D programs. An interest and a passion for innovative sustainable design that intelligently blends research and practicality is key.

Our Manchester studio is looking for a Senior Architect with a minimum of three years’ experience at this level, to work on our portfolio of exciting projects which include a number of notable historic listed buildings.

We are looking for someone with strong conservation and technical skills who is confident running projects from inception through to completion. Whilst AABC or RIBA SCA Accreditation is not essential candidates should be working towards this as part of their career development.

Experience of working with historic buildings and an interest in contemporary design in historic settings is essential.

This role will also involve senior management responsibilities in the studio and therefore the successful candidate will have experience in this area.

This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of our team, playing a key role in the development of our Manchester studio.
