The success of our work is often dependent on our ability to graphically communicate complex ideas to a diverse audience. We are seeking an individual who can work collaboratively to help design and create a wide variety of materials that support our Planning and Engineering practices. The selected individual will provide graphics and design support to various transportation planning and engineering projects, such as district- and corridor-level studies, master plans, roadway design, site planning, multi-modal facilities, traffic impact studies, and bicycle and pedestrian plans. The position’s responsibilities include:

- Design and create maps.
- Development of streetscape renderings.
- Preparation of conceptual designs.
- Development of presentation materials to communicate transportation concepts.
- Document design, including reports and outreach materials.

Skills and Qualifications

The candidate should possess the following qualities:

- 1 to 5 years of urban design/planning experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in urban design, planning, architecture, or related field.
- Excellent graphic communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS.

Interest in and understanding of transportation planning concepts.
