This position is currently available in our New York office. We are looking for an ambitious, talented and self-motivated individual to join the Interior Design team. The individual will be designing hospitality and residential projects at multiple scales in the US and abroad.

The Interior Designer will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing creative design for clients requiring the firm’s unique perspective for their challenging projects. Responsible for managing the production of designs studies, presentations, working drawings, while coordinating within the interior design team. Maintain relationships with clients and organize a work flow within the team. Personal and professional growth of our team is integral to our success.

This position requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills for use in an interactive design team environment. An ability to work at a variety of project scales, including interior architecture and FF&E in luxury residences and hotels, is fundamental. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and be proficient with hand drawing and writing skills; Spexx experience a plus. Additionally, successful candidates will have experience working with a full design team and hotel operator from concept visions & material trays to detailed specifications & procurement POs. This position provides the opportunity for growth and advancement.

3+ years’ work experience concentrated in high-end interior design of hotels or single-family residences. The successful candidate will have a CIDA-accredited undergraduate degree or master’s degree in interior design studies.

Luay Bahoora Architects has a job opening for a Junior Architect. The position is open to motivated candidates with the ability to successfully execute projects from schematic design through construction completion. The following qualifications are required:

- Professional architectural degree from an accredited institution.
- Prior work experience in an architecture firm.
- Ability and desire to work in a design intensive and collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with developing drawing sets from schematics through construction documents. This requires a solid understanding of drawing conventions, technical accuracy, as well as the ability to creatively solve construction problems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Adobe Creative Suite (ie, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator).
- Proficiency with 3D modelling & rendering software (Rhino, VRay) is required.
- Strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
