Gravity Design Associates Ltd is a vibrant and friendly multi-disciplinary practice covering Architecture, Interior design and Lighting design based on Bermondsey Street, London SE1.
We have an immediate requirement for an enthusiastic and experienced Architect. Our Ideal candidate will possess at least 4 years’ experience post part III qualification.
Our current architectural projects include high end residential refurbishments, vertical and lateral extensions, conversions and office fit outs. The practice is also involved in overseas developments, retail, leisure and commercial projects within the UK.
Applicants will need a good planning understanding combined with excellent construction detailing, UK building regulation and contract administration knowledge as well as being comfortable with the client liaison role. Internal layouts and finishes package experience is also important.
Applicants must be AutoCAD/SketchUp/Photoshop fluent and be able to guide a design team from inception through to project completion. An outline understanding of BIM/REVIT would also be an advantage.

We’re looking for Architects and Interior Designers at all levels for our Commercial Office Building, Multi-Family Housing, and Interiors groups:
- Project Managers with a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial office and/or multi-family residential building design.
- Project Designers with a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial office and/or multi-family residential building design.
- Project Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience in multi-family residential building design.
- Staff Architects at all levels but with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in multi-family residential building design.
- Commercial Interior Designers with 4-10 years of experience.
- Multi-family Residential Interior Designers with 8-10 years of experience.
- Interior Designers with 1-4 years of experience.
All candidates should have experience in commercial office and / or multi-family residential building design. Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interiors (professional degrees preferred). Candidates should exhibit design and technological sophistication in their work samples and be self-starting, energetic, and creative. Knowledge of Revit is required and preference will be given to candidates with exceptionally strong Revit skills. Rhino / Grasshopper skills are a plus.
