Heritage Architecture LLC (HAL) is a fifteen year old, 22 person firm with two locations, Manhattan and Paramus, NJ. We are seeking creative, technically strong architects to join our team working out of our New York office. The ideal candidates will have 3 to 12 years of practical experience, and will be skilled in Revit. If you have not worked in Revit, but are quick and willing to learn, you will be considered. The desired building type experience includes, small to medium scale luxury condominium buildings in Manhattan, medium scale affordable residential buildings in all Boroughs, higher education projects, and K-12 schools.
Responsibilities include working with Partners on design, assisting Project Managers or performing PM services in developing scopes, developing CDs and coordinating design and construction documents internally as well as with consultants, and participating in project meetings. Personal qualities should include being highly collaborative, positive, self-motivated, and creative. Positions are available on a contract basis or as permanent staff. Current Projects in design:
- 8 unit luxury condominium in SoHo.
- 83 Unit mixed-use development with community center.
- K-12 schools in the five boroughs and NJ.
Background and experience:
- Architects strong in construction documents and detailing.
- Experience working in BIM.
- Capable of implementing Revit standards through production.
- Coordination of multi-disciplined documentation.
Required Architect's Qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture required.
- 3-10 years of experience in architecture, working on a diversity of projects.
- In progress, or having completed IDP requirements
