Manhattan based Design / Build firm seeks Architectural Designer with excellent client service skills and 4-5 years of NYC experience to join our expanding Design Department. The firm is women-owned, operating primarily on a referral basis. Projects include high end residential, commercial and retail/hospitality ranging from $200K to $2mil.
Candidates must:
- Hold a professional degree in architecture or engineering.
- Be highly organized, personable and polished.
- Demonstrate competence in all phases of high end residential and / or hospitality design from concept to completion.
- Demonstrate an understanding of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Demonstrate familiarity with appliances, fixtures, finishes and NYC showrooms.
- Possess the ability to manage project consultants.
- Possess the ability to work independently.
- Possess the ability to generate thoughtful, build-able details.
- Possess impeccable AutoCAD (drafting and file management) and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
- Have some knowledge of DOB filing process and ADA compliance guidelines.
Excellent opportunity for a motivated individual. Previous construction administration or project management experience is a plus.

We are seeking Senior Architects / Project Architects whom are skilled designers with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Qualified applicants will have demonstrated experience leading design teams through completion of distinctive projects of at least 50,000 gsf. The position requires client interface, management of consultants, delegation of work assignments and providing direction to junior staff. Applicants must be proficient in AutoCAD 2015 and 3d modelling and rendering, with Revit project experience a plus. Experience with NYC Code, NYC Zoning, accessible design, and sustainable design is preferred.
Candidates must have a Masters of Architecture degree. A New York State Architectural License and Leed accreditation are preferred but not required. The candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational qualities and team-building skills.
