Resume/Info: Collaborator of the architect Fernando Tavora and Jose Bernardo Tavora, between 1990 and 1995, following all the school formation with the professional practice.
In 1995 initiates independent professional activity. Later, in 1999, opening his own office: Lousinha Arquitectos, Arquitectura e Comunicao, Lda., at Aveiro, that currently runs, with two collaborators. Between works and projects, the stack of works exceeds already the 140 registers, with interventions spread by the north of Portugal.
In 2000 was selected for the exhibition GENERATION 90, a sample of works from architects graduated during last decade, promoted by Ordem dos Arquitectos Portugueses and directed by architect Joao Belo Rodeia, with the project of the Summer House in Vascoveiro, (1995/1999).
In 2001, obtains the third place prize for the Public Competition from Ideias for the Elaboration of the Master Plan of Barra South, Ilhavo.
Teaching experience, in the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa between 1997/2001.
In 2004, he is invited for coordination and conception of several projects from the GAIAPOLIS Program, that currently develops.
Also in 2004, he initiates teaching activity in Architecture at Escola Superior Artistica do Porto.
