We have immediate openings for an Architectural Designer.
- Participate in all phases of architectural practice.
- Assist with design conception, development and construction documents.
- Bachelor OR Masters of Architecture degree (from accredited institution).
- Communicates ideas eloquently.
- 2+ years of solid AutoCAD experience.
- 2+ years of experience with commercial + corporate office interiors.
- 2+ years of RECENT Construction Document experience.
- Some knowledge of basic California Building Codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Some knowledge in Architectural and Interior Design Standards.
- Ability to read plans, elevations and sections and draft from hand sketches and/or redlines.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Currently residing and able to legally work in the U.S.
- Must have and believe in a clean and professional presentation.
- Must have reliable car and current valid California driver’s license.
- Full-Time position (contract to permanent hire).

The London office has an award winning portfolio of beautiful traditional projects including hotels, galleries, apartment buildings and multi-million pound mansions to name but a few.
Role & Responsibilities
- To take responsibility for projects at various work stages, particularly stages 2 to 7; predominantly high end residential projects ranging in value between £2.5-£4.5million.
- Active involvement in the design process and contract administration.
- Produce high-quality construction details and presentation drawings.
- Operate alone and unsupervised as well as within complex, multi-disciplinary team.
Required skills & experience:
- Riba Part III qualified (or equivalent).
- Solid experience running projects through all RIBA stages, including contract administration.
- Experience in the delivery of residential schemes and speculative housing.
- Confidence in dealing directly with clients.
-- Experience of operating ArchiCAD (although not essential).
- A thorough understanding of traditional, vernacular and classical design.
Salary & Package
The successful applicant will be offered a salary of £38,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
