Job description:
We are currently seeking intermediate-level architects with strong design skills to join our team. The position will involve working closely with the principal of firm on projects from schematic design through construction. The ideal candidate would have experience working at a variety of scales and a solid working knowledge of Revit.
Job qualifications:
- 3-5 years of post-graduate experience.
- Passion for design.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Solid knowledge of 2D drawing and presentation software.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software.
- Proficiency in Revit preferred but not essential.
- Experience in construction document preparation and field observation.
- Accredited professional or graduate degree in architecture.
- Eligible for registration in the province of British Columbia.

While the studio sits within in the heart of Edinburgh’s historical old town, the project work is truly international ranging across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
We are looking for talented young, mid-level and senior designers. We are keen to talk to ambitious candidates with impressive design or technical portfolios who are passionate about working on exciting international projects in a dynamic design led environment.
At a senior level, we are looking for experienced architects to lead and motivate teams responsible for the design of large scale developments. International experience is preferred but not essential.
All candidates must have:
- Degree in architecture.
- Minimum four years' post qualification experience.
- Strong design skills and experience in all phases of the design process.
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and 3D Max or Rhino.
- A working knowledge of Revit is advantageous.
Senior level candidates must also have:
- Built project experience where delivery of concept has been achieved.
- Experience managing the production and coordination of information for each of the work stages through to project competition.
- Strong people management skills with proven experience in directing small teams and delivering quality design whilst working to tight deadlines.
- Ability to apply a technical rigour to the production and coordination of drawing packages and the ability to put a building together.
- Willingness to travel.
