We are currently seeking a capable, intermediate level Project Designer / Project Architect to join our growing interiors group.
Responsibilities:
Work as a key part of a design team on all phases of project development from planning and concept through design, FF+E selection and construction documents for high-profile corporate, healthcare, institutional, and residential interiors projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- NYS Architectural Registration preferred.
- 5-8 years relevant professional experience working on high profile interior projects.
- Strong graphic skills.
- Strong aesthetic sense, 3D presentation, production and technical skills.
- Experience with materials selection, specification and detailing.
- Focused, articulate, well organized, excellent time management skills, and detail – oriented.
- Proficiency with Revit; familiarity with other 3D software and Adobe Design Suite.
- Familiarity with architectural and interior details, finish materials and furnishings.
- Working knowledge of NYC Building code and Leed Accreditation preferred.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

We are DKA, an architects practice based in Bath with over 20 years’ experience of designing and delivering quality buildings. Our studio occupies a former Malt House which sits alongside the picturesque Kennet and Avon canal overlooking Bath city centre.
We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified Project Architect to join our team.
The role is for a permanent position to run a variety of challenging commercial and education projects.
Applicant requirements:
At least 3 years’ experience as a Project Architect, with good technical knowledge and proficient CAD skills. An understanding of Microstation is preferred but training can be given. Revit and BIM knowledge is an advantage.
A good standard of presentation, fluent English written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and within teams involved directly with clients, consultants and contractors.
