Qualifications:
- Has a working knowledge of bulding codes and has experience working directly with Building Officials and Plan reviews.
- Develops a relationship with the contractor and the Client during construction to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Responds to RFI’s.
- Prepares and reviews Addenda, Bulletins, Change Orders, Field Observation Reports, Applications for Payments, Construction Documents, Shop Drawings, and materials for compliance with design intent and program requirements.
- Solves complex problems in the architectural design of projects through the integration of building simulation and research to optimize building performance.
- Confers with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development.
Requirements
- Completion of a professional architectural degree program.
- Five or more years of experience and progressive responsibilities in all phases of architecture and substantial experience in the Construction Administration Phase of projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques, and costs.
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of general architectural practice including programming, site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- The ability to work in ArchiCAD or Revit.
