Thomas Ford & Partners are looking for an experienced Conservation Architect to work on an increasing workload of interesting and high-quality projects. We are an RIBA Award-winning practice with an established reputation and a wide range of projects covering the conservation, heritage, and ecclesiastical sectors.
Applicants should have at least 10 years’ post-qualification experience, and already occupy a similar position at their current practice, with a proven track record in delivering projects to a high technical standard. AABC or Riba accreditation is desirable.
The role will require you to liaise directly with clients, consultants and contractors on a daily basis, and you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You will be able to take responsibility for a project, including preparing drawings and specifications, working both independently and collaboratively as a senior member of a team. You will also have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment and of taking projects through UK legislative procedures, including those related to heritage sites.
We are particularly interested in meeting individuals who wish to progress an already established career in conservation and there are excellent career prospects for individuals with drive and ability. Salary negotiable.
