A fantastic opportunity for a Project Architect to join our busy, multi-award winning architectural practice. We are renowned for designing sustainable timber architecture, ranging from timber pods, cabins, boats, sky pavilions and bespoke self build houses right up to fully formed sustainable communities, and occasionally larger commercial buildings for people we like.
We are looking for talented and highly motivated individuals to join our new Salisbury office, to help in dealing with our expanding workload and growing the practice.
The position will be full-time and permanent, with the successful candidate being confident and enthusiastic, as well as being a qualified architect registered to work in the UK. Excellent working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and AutoCAD proficiency are required, with experience of timber-frame architecture being beneficial but not essential.
We are looking for a professional to join our small team at our studio in San Francisco’s Dogpatch. Please be energetic, positive and a team player willing to accept a wide range of roles and responsibilities within the studio.

Qualifications & requirements include:
- An accredited professional architecture degree: B.Arch or M.Arch.
- Enrolment with NCARB, participation in IDP and active pursuit of licensure.
- 3 - 5 years of experience with an architectural firm, preferably including high-end residential projects.
- Experience with client, contractor and consultant interactions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, MS Office and Adobe CS.
- Familiarity with sustainable building and design practices and experience with Leed and / or GreenPoint Rating.
- A great design sensibility and a strong portfolio.
- Strong organization and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage one’s own time.
- Hand sketching a plus.
