We have an exciting opportunity for a German speaking Project Architect to work on a prestigious new build Restaurant project in Switzerland for a top UK based design practice. You will be working with a local architect from the outset, who will deal with all planning and legislation matters, will assist with production information; Stage 4 and be in charge of Stage 5, where you would take on a monitoring role. Although you will be based in the London office, there will be regular visits to Switzerland to liaise with both the Client and the local architect who have very limited English.
Person profile:
– Fluent German speaker.
– ARB Registered Architect with UK experience.
– Talented all round Architect with natural design flair and a good grasp of constructions stages.
– Willing to travel.
– AutoCAD user.
– Previous restaurant sector experience is a bonus, but not essential.

Qualifications
- Professional architecture degree, B.Arch or higher.
- 1 – 3 years design and construction experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D StudioMax, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign and MS Office.
- Ability to effectively communicate with design team.
- Ability to efficiently prepare digital renderings and construction documents.
Responsibilities
- Produce drawings for all design phases, conceptual design through construction documents.
- Produce materials for client presentations.
- Research manufacturers' materials, systems and specifications.
- Coordinate design with all consultants, including renderers, model builders and engineers.
