Responsibilities will include all aspects of project life from schematic design through creation, organization and coordination of CD sets. Prior Construction Document creation a must. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors and must be capable of supervising a team through the construction phase.
Extensive knowledge of Auto-cad and Sketch Up a must. Photoshop and Excel also required.

Multi-award winning luxury tree house design and construction consultancy based in East Sussex is looking for a creative and talented individual to join our in-house design team. We are seeking an Architectural Graduate or Part 1 Architectural Assistant who possesses knowledge of 2D construction detailing as well as 3D visualisation skills, ideally SketchUP and Auto CAD.
The successful applicant will assist the design team on the production of a wide range of projects including master plans, concept designs, sales and stage presentations, graphic design work for promotional material and print media to communicate both technical and aesthetic information to our clients, planning departments and construction teams, along with interior design specification and procurement.
Role overview:
- Work with a small full time team of creative designers and Architects.
- Design projects using a range of design programs including the Adobe Suite, Auto CAD, Sketch up and 3D Studio Max.
- Work on a varied range of projects including commercial and private client schemes.
- Primarily office based but willing to undertake site visits and travel across the UK and Europe where necessary.
Key skills/requirements:
- Architectural degree or equivalent experience or knowledge of construction.
- Be creative and passionate about design.
- Have good knowledge of 2D construction detailing and 3D visualisation- ideally SketchUP.
- Strong hand sketching skills and artistic flare.
- The ability to work on multiple projects, managing time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Have a strong portfolio that demonstrates innovation and creativity.
- Live locally to Tunbridge Wells.
