Work responsibilities:
- Support Sustainability Team in delivering green certification projects in both China and all over the world
Work with our architects, designers and engineers to develop cost-effective sustainable design solutions based on client sustainability goals and CSR objectives.
- Develop specialties in sustainability and project management related fields (such as sustainable material sourcing and energy modelling).
- Develop a thorough, experience-based multinational career in building engineering, project management and environmental sustainability.
- Obtain Leed ap credentials within 2 months (advantage to candidates already in possession of LEED GA or AP).

We are seeking dedicated, passionate team members with strong individual design and problem solving skills for immediate opportunities as an Architectural Designer II. This position requires the candidate to support project team leaders and produce presentations suitable for the KPF team and client. Our firm covers multiple practice areas including master planning, commercial office buildings, mixed use residential and hotel buildings, multi-unit residential, academic and large infrastructure projects.
Job responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Project Manager responsible for the individual project, the Architectural Designer II will be responsible for assisting in Master Planning, Site Planning and Building Design exercises utilizing 3D modelling, and digital presentation packaging.
- Prepare conceptual and schematic proposals, project layouts and develop designs in 3D using Revit, Rhino or other 3D modelling software for client review / approval.
- Perform design computations, specifications, compile data, and elementary architectural assignments.
- Assist with preparation of construction drawings and construction detailing for contractors.
- Review building codes and zoning to assure that design complies with the minimum legal standards.
- Assist in the construction administration phase by reviewing shop drawings, answering RFI’s, and creating a master log of the project submittals.
- Prepare finish material sample boards, physical models and graphic presentations for client approval.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture is required.
- Minimum of 5 to 9 years of relevant architectural experience, Construction Administration experience a plus.
- Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts to project team.
- Strong communication skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
- Experience with site planning and zoning analysis.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign – is required.
- Leed accreditation preferred.
