Rowland+Broughton is searching for a Project Architect with eight or more years of experience planning or developing complex medium to large scope projects. Candidates must have extensive experience executing and coordinating the technical aspects of projects and drawing sets while potentially overseeing a staff of architects and designers.
Qualifications:
- Eight or more years of project experience.
- Licensed architect (not required but preferred).
- Focuses on custom residential, hotels, restaurants, and commercial projects.
- Plans and develops projects of medium to large scope and works under minimum supervision.
- Oversees a group of support staff and offers mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Possesses an understanding of permitting as well as local regulation, building codes, and energy codes.
- Responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments while adhering to project budgets and schedules.
- Accountable for construction documents, specifications, and construction observation.
- Adaptability when dealing with architectural projects that require unique and/or divisive complexities.
- This role requires a candidate with strong leadership skills while acting independently and with integrity when defining scope and developing original design concepts.
- Specific experience with technical documentation required.
- Solid AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D modeling, Revit, rendering, SketchUp and Microsoft Office skills are a must.
