Stalwork, Inc. is looking for a licensed architect to join their design-build team. We specialize in challenging custom homes and commercial construction.
Job description:
- Coordinate and manage project design through all project phases: preliminary design and schematics, construction document submittal, construction observation/verification, and finish selections.
- Provide all encompassing design proposals to include architectural design hours, consultant costs, and county / city fees.
- Understand client budget constraints and expectations.
- Provide leadership and creative design direction during the conceptual and schematic phases.
- Produce architectural submittals and efficiently complete revisions. Evaluate code compliance.
- Oversee architectural staff and coordinate with design consultants with regards to drawing development, detailing, and quality control.
- Manage multiple projects and communications with clients and project managers concurrently in a fast paced environment.
- Actively work with project managers to resolve issues to achieve project success.
- Contribute to the business by actively seeking and following up on potential projects.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- Architectural License in California.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Code compliance knowledge.
- Well-rounded experience with residential and commercial projects.
Salary: Starting at $85,000-115,000 per year D.O.E. with 100% employer paid benefits for employee and dependents. Paid vacation.
Full time position. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM – 5PM. Must be available to work longer hours as needed. Expectation is 50 hours a week.
