Construction has just started on what is going to be China's second-largest skyscraper the 'Evergrande tower' designed by the award-winning British architecture firm, Terry Farrell and Partners. The tower will be standing at 560 meters, falling just short of the Shanghai tower. The tower will feature apartments, offices, entertainment spaces and shops, the Evergrande building is planned as a landmark for city's new Shandong central business district, with unabated views of the city from the sky lounges.
