The role:
As an Assistant or Junior Architect you will be called upon to produce conceptual, presentation and production drawings and deal with technical issues as part of the architectural team. You will also have to accompany Senior Architects on site visits. There will be a responsibility to meet deadlines and work with colleagues to deliver schemes on time and on budget.
This position is aimed at an aspiring Architect who has a few years under their belt and is committed to advancing his or her career with a sustainable, forward-thinking developer.
Background & Experience:
- Has worked for an established architectural practice.
- Has a genuine passion for high-end architectural design.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD are essential.
- Experience of Revit or similar 3D modelling/BIM software is highly desirable.
- Up to date experience of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite applications - Word, Excel, Photoshop, Indesign, etc.
- Good knowledge of construction techniques and Building Regulations.
- Previous experience in sustainable design is advantageous.
- Holds relevant architectural and/or other construction qualifications, including Riba Part 3.
- Preferably has Riba chartered membership.
